PURPOSE:To enable clear printing to be performed even on a rough paper, by dispersely incorporating microcapsules containing a sublimable dye therein into a heat-fusible ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A heat-fusible ink layer 2 is provided on a base 1. Microcapsules 3 containing a sublimable dye 4 therein are incorporated in the ink layer 2. The microcapsules 3 are dispersed in the ink layer 2 as uniformly as possible. The base may be, for example, a polyester film (a polyethylene terephthalate film). A heat-fusible ink may comprise a coloring agent such as a pigment and a dye. The sublimable dye may be Kayaset Black T-2 for Black T-2 for a black color or the like, and a wall material for the microcapsules may be a polyamide or the like. The thickness of the ink layer 2 is ordinarily about 2-30mum, and the average particle diameter of the microcapsules 3 is preferably about 0.2-10mum.
