PURPOSE:To make it possible to put a properly desired pattern on a tube bulb luminous surface by giving a synthetic resin layer with a pattern set least on one part of the tube bulb luminous surface through an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin layer 8 is stuck to an outer surface of a glass tube 4 with an adhesive 6 while the synthetic layer 8 consists of a clear layer 8a and a patterned layer 8b. Further, in Fig., the patterned layer 8b is provided on the front side of the synthetic resin layer 8, however, the patterned layer 8b can be provided the side of the adhesive layer 6. The adhesive layer 6 consists of adhesives or paste materials, for example, of an acryl system, an ethylene-vinyl acetate system, a urethane-acryl system, a vinyl chloride system and a synthetic resin system. Further, the clear layer 8a of the synthetic resin layer 8 consists, for example, of synthetic resin varnish such as acryl, vinyl chloride or a mixture of these with cellulose nitrate.
