PURPOSE:To attain image synthesis with a simple constitution and to simplify operation by synthesizing at least one image of one original with the prescribed range of the other original and forming the synthesized image on a material to be transferred. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd originals G1, G2 are set up on an original platen 2 so that the entry area of the 1st original G1 is parallel with an image to be synthesized on the 2nd original G2 in which plural list items are written at a prescribed pitch, e.g., and the image of the 2nd original G2 specified by a specifying means moving in a direction parallel with the mobile direction of a scanning means at a prescribed pitch with the prescribed range of the 1st copied original specified by said specifying means so that the synthesized image can be copied on a material to be transferred. Consequently, at least one image of one original can be synthesized with the prescribed range of the other original and said image synthesis can be attained without using a changing means for changing an image forming position on an image carrier by moving along the image carrier. |
