PURPOSE:The titled cosmetic that contains anhydrous maltitol crystals as an active ingredient, thus being resistant to blocking even in loosely sealed vessels where moisture absorption or moisture release occurs mild and giving favoritely moist feeling without greasy, dry and irritating senses. CONSTITUTION:The cosmetic contains anhydrous maltitol crystals as an active ingredient. The maltitol is purified to 85-99% purity and the water content is set to 8-0.5% on the moistening equilibrium. Thus, the powder or compressed powder cosmetic can get properties resisting to blocking, hot becoming greasy, resisting to excessive drying and so on. While sorbitol has 182 molecular weight, 1,300mOsm/kg osmotic pressure, maltitol has 344 molecular weight and about 700mOms/kg osmotic pressure, about half of sorbitol. Further, skin irritation is low. |
