PURPOSE:To shorten the air brush processing time by selecting an air brush mask corresponding to the time when an instructing means is contacting the display surface of a display part, from an air brush mask table, and varying an air brush application range. CONSTITUTION:On an input side of a decoder 6 for selecting a mask of an air brush mask table 7, an air brush application range varying circuit 8 is provided, and the circuit 8 is connected to an instructing means 1. When the means 1 is connected to a screen of a display part 2, a switch 11 is turned on, and while it is turned on, an output signal from the means 1 is inputted continuously to the circuit 8. Accordingly, when the time when the means is brought into contact with the picture is measured by the circuit 8, a value corresponding to the contact time is decoded by a decoder 6, a mask of a prescribed size is selected from the table 7, and its variation is displayed on a picture of the display part 2. Accordingly, an air brush range can be set by seeing the display by an operation of once.
