<p>The support and guide system for a spindle head (T) of a machine tool comprises at least a pair of frames (1) secured to the carriage (C) into which the spindle head (T) slides. Each of the frames (1) is formed of four metal bars (2-5) adjustably connected to each other and encompassing the spindle head (T). The frames (1) act as a sliding surface for the spindle head (T) and are intended to increase the supporting surface of the spindle head (T) on the vertically movable carriage (C) and to guide the spindle head (T) in its vertical movement.</p> |
