摘要 PURPOSE:To calculate the relative position between space flight bodies, by calculating the distances between the transmitting-receiving part of a first space flight body and a plurality of relay parts fixed to a second space flight body at the respectively different positions thereof. CONSTITUTION:A first flight body is constituted so that three carrier waves different in frequency are respectively modulated by transmitting parts 22, 23, 24 using a pulse 21 to be transmitted to a second flight body by a transmitting and receiving unit 29. In the side of the second flight body, the carrier waves are received by the relay parts 11, 12, 13 provided at different positions T1, T2, T3 and respectively converted to separate frequencies to be again transmitted to the first flight body. In the first flight body, and carrier waves again transmitted are received by the transmitting- receiving unit 29 provided at a position T0 and pulses are taken out to measure a propagation delay time to perform the detection of a distance by a distance detection circuit 28. When the pulse Ti sent out from a space robot 2 to a space base 1 is relayed and received so as to be delayed by a 2ti time, Li=(ti-tid)C [wherein C is a propagation speed of a radio wave and tid is an inherent delay time of each circuit] is formed. From this formula, distances L1-L3 are calculated to find out a relative position.
