PURPOSE:To reduce the size of mechanical section by constructing such that a row of idle gears including planetary gears and toothless gears are arranged then predetermined forward rotation of a platen gear is triggered by the reverse rotation of the platen gear and transmitted to a pick roller thus feeding the paper. CONSTITUTION:Under initial condition, first and third idle gears 1, 3 are at such positions as the power is not transmitted because of the notched section of the gear 3. When a paper feed instruction is provided under this condition, a platen gear 8 is rotated in the direction (b) so as to gear the gear 2 in a rolling gear comprising first and second idle gears 1, 2 with the gear 3 which is geared with the gear 1. When the platen gear 8 is rotated in the direction (a), the gear 2 is geared with an eject roller gear 7 disposed coaxially with an exhaust roller shaft 10 so as to rotate said gear 7. When a pick roller 11 is rotated through the gear rows 1-6, paper feeding is executed. |
