PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of a release agent and dents during fixing with a heat roll at the time of photoengraving with a PPC copying machine by providing a hydrophilic overcoat having a specific compsn. further onto a hydrophilic image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:The image receiving layer essentially consisting of a pigment and binder resin is provided on a base and further the over coat layer essentially consisting of a meso-inositol hexaphosphate or the deriv. thereof and aliphat. dicarboxylic acid is provided thereon. The representative examples of the pigment to be used for the image receiving layer are zinc oxide, calcium carbonate and clay. A hydrophilic resin is used for the binder resin. The compounding ratio of the aliphat. dicarboxylic acid wit the meso-inositol hexaphosphate or the deriv. thereof is adequately 20-300pts.wt. the latter per 100pts.wt. the former by solid content.
