PURPOSE:To concurrently perform excavation and discharge of soil as well as obtain a pit of a desired diameter at a time by providing a tip side nozzle, an arm nozzle, and an excavated soil suction pipe for the tip of an injection pipe. CONSTITUTION:While supplying a protecting liquid for the wall of pit, a pit A is formed by an excavating blade 9 on the tip of an injecting pipe 1, and high-pressure jet water 32 is horizontally jetted from the tip side nozzle 32 to form a cavity B. An arm nozzle 33 is also opened and high-pressure jet water is jetted from the tip of the nozzle 33 to form a cavity C. Excavated soil by the nozzles 33 and 32, together with excavated soil by the blade 9 lowered to the bottom of the cavity, is sucked up by an excavated soil suction pipe 2 and discharged. A pit of a desired diameter can thus be obtained at a time by the nozzles 32 and 33 and the excavated soil can be discharged through the pipe 2 at the same time as the excavation is made.
