摘要 PURPOSE:The titled molded article, obtained by depolymerizing the surface of a molded article of a polyester resin coating carbon fibers and/or carbon black in a solution without swelling or dissolving the above-mentioned resin and having improved both surface electric conductivity and mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a molded article consisting of a polyester resin, preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate containing 10-60wt% preferably 15-50wt% carbon fibers, preferably acrylonitrile based or pitch based carbon fibers having <=10<-2>OMEGA.cm resistivity and >=100kg/mm<2> tensile strength and/or carbon black, preferably having a small particle diameter is depolymerized in a solution without swelling or dissolving the above- mentioned polyester resin, preferably hydrolyzed with an alkali to afford the aimed molded article in which the carbon fibers or carbon black or both are partially exposed on the surface.
