PURPOSE:To simply obtain data determining the shape of a lens fixing mold, by measuring the three-dimensional coordinate data of the lens fixing groove shape of the frame of spectacles and further operating the geometrical center data of the frame and curve value data. CONSTITUTION:The three-dimensional coordinate data of a lens fixing groove shape is measured by a groove shape measuring apparatus through a probe matched with the groove of the frame of spectacles and moving therealong and supplied to the operational processor 400 of a measured data processing unit 200. The processor 400 calculates the curve value of the frame of spectacles from the three-dimensional coordinate values of the fixing groove at three points thereof and, further, the geometrical center of the frame of spectacles is determined by the operation corresponding to the calculation method from a data input device 300. Similarly, operation is performed corresponding to the set quantities such as eccentric quantity and a pupil distance from the device 300 to simply obtain data determining the shape of a lens fixing mold and these data are outputted to a lens polishing device 800 and a display device 700.
