PURPOSE:To eliminate the camber of the flange after its fixture with its tacking and to improve the productivity by a simple work, by deforming the pipe wall of a pipe with spreading it to the external part by the pressing force of a steel ball and by making it bite into a flange. CONSTITUTION:The flange 2 tacking to a pipe 1 and its terminal part 1a from the outside of the projecting part 13a of the outer punch 13 extending to the upper part of a jig base 11 is engaged and set in the state of abutting to the upper face of the jig base 11. The pipe 1 is then supported and fixed by an appropriate means so as to avoid its floating and on the other hand a master punch 17 is ascended to the arrow A direction and press-fitted to the inner part of the outer punch 13. The tacking by the calking is performed by deforming the terminal part 1a of the pipe 1 by expanding it to the external part with the pressing force in the horizontal direction of the steel balls 16a, 16b having the larger ciameter than the thickness of the side wall of the projection part 13a and by forming the state of the one part being bitten into the flange 2.
