PURPOSE:To prevent vibration by abutting the flange of a front guard on the flange of a rear guard, and detachably connecting both the flanges with a ring made of a soft material. CONSTITUTION:On the end surface of the opening of a guard 9 formed on a body 1, a guard flange 2 is fixedly provided. On the end surface of the opening of a front guard 3, a front guard flange 4 is fixed, and is engaged by a ring 5 of rubberlike soft material. Accordingly, the vibration caused by an air blowing action is absorbed by the ring 5, and the vibration is not transmitted to the floor surface 8. Thus, as compared with the conventional fan, vibration can be reduced.
