摘要 PURPOSE:To improve thermal efficiency and productivity by bringing carbon- contg. iron power into decarburization reaction in a specified temp. range in a fluidized reactor at the time of producing desired iron powder for metallurgy, etc., by subjecting the carbon-contg. iron powder to roasting decarburization. CONSTITUTION:The internal fluidized reactor 2 for decarburization is installed in the high-temp. fluidized bed 1 kept at a prescribed temp. in order to maintain the fluidized reactor 2 at 650-1,000 deg.C. Air is blown from an external blower 3 and oil from an oil gun 4 is blown from the bottom to effect combustion in order to maintain the fluidized bed 1 at the prescribed temp. The combustion gas is discharged from a chimney 5. The carburized iron powder is vigorously circulated to effect the decarburization reaction in the fluidized reactor 2. Said iron powder overflows from the reactor and is housed into a product hopper 13. The gaseous mixture composed of CO2, CO, etc. generating by the reaction is recovered from the upper part., is passed through a cyclone 8, a CO2/CO meter 9, and an external blower 11 and is introduced into the fluidized reactor 2 from the bottom thereof.
