PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and to stabilize the welding quality by performing a wall face profiling by equalizing the impedances at weaving both end positions and by performing the welding by shifting by the preset quantity on and after the 2nd pass. CONSTITUTION:The welding robot 1 equipping the right and left axes 12, before and after axes 13 and the upper and lower axes 14 is set up about parallel to the body to be welded. The waving is performed toward the 2nd corner point C2 by setting a torch 17 at the 1st corner point C1 by inputting the size of the body P to be welded. In this case, the wall face profiling is performed by equalizing the impedance at the weaving both end positions from the welding current, voltage E and the position of respective corner part is stored. The welding is then performed by shifting by the preset quantity on and after the 2nd pass based on this memory. In this way the automatic welding is enabled by only one time setting and the cost reduction and stabilization in the welding quality are enabled. |
