PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled wire having good workability and superior characteristic in high magnetic field, by covering a core material such as Ti with an Nb pipe and arranging it around an Nb rod, inserting these into a covering Nb pipe and arranging it in matrix contg. Sn. CONSTITUTION:The core material 11 composed of one or more among Ti, Ta, In, Hf, Al, Zr for improving critical current value in high magnetic field range of Nb3Sn is covered with the Nb pipe 8 to form a composite rod 12. The plural rods 12 are arranged around the Nb rod 13, these are inserted into the covering Nb pipe 14 to form an Nb element core material 9. Diameter of the material 9 is reduced to a prescribed one to obtain an Nb core material 10. Next, the material 10 is inserted into a hollow pipe 15 contg. Sn, if necessary, diameter reduction working is applied to obtain a multicores composite superconductor element wire 17 composed of the material 10 arranged to inner part of a matrix 16 contg. Sn and converted to Nb3Sn superconductor wire by diffusion heat treatment.
