PURPOSE:To obtain a monoascus dyestuff in a state unlinked to a protein by previously putting spherical materials of porous resin in a liquid culture medium for cultivating a microoganism belonging to the genus Monascus and adsorbing the resultant dyestuff produced by the microorganism on the resin. CONSTITUTION:A microoganism, e.g Monascus purpreus or Monascus anka, belonging to the genus Monascus is cultivated in a liquid to produce a monascus dyestuff. In the process, shperical materials of a porous resin re previously put in a liquid culture medium to adsorb the produced dyestuff thereon. The porous resin is preferably an acrylic acid ester resin or styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer resin. |
