A coimposition for selectively controlling weeds comprising a mixture of 3-isopropyl-(1H)-benzo-2,1,3-thiadiazine-4-one 2,2-di-oxide (II) and a compound selected from 4-pyridyloxy-alpha-phenoxy-propionic acid esters (I), together with carriers and/or other adjuvants, which composition contains as component (I) 4-(3',5'-dichloropyridyl-2'-oxy)-alpha-phenoxypropionic acid propargyl ester (la) or 4-(3',5'-dichloropyridyl-2'-oxy)-alpha-phenoxythioprop- ionic acid propargyl ester (Ib) in an amount producing a synergistic herbicidal action. |
