PURPOSE:To prevent large disorder of control in control of chemical process, etc., by providing a limiter that widens time width slowly with the lapse of time in a self turning regulator (STR). CONSTITUTION:A limiter 3 having function to widen the width of restriction slowly with the lapse of time on receiving an operation start command of an STR 2 is provided in a system that controls a controlled system 1 by the STR 2, and output of the limiter 3 is incorporated in the TR 2. Accordingly, the output of the STR 2 that enter the part of slanting lines is cut off, and only the values outside of the part of slanting lines are added to the controlled system 1 as an output 4 of the limiter 3, and supplied also to the STR 2. There by, the manipulated variable improper to control in the stage of initial operation of the STR can be limited and accordingly, disorder of control can be reduced.
