PURPOSE:To prevent a coil from being displaced and deformed by an electromagnetic force, by providing a superconductive magnet, whose saddle-shaped coil is semicircular or U-shaped in its cross section, a pair of rectilinear pressing iron molds soldered on a base plate in the coil, and peripheral metal fittings soldered thereto. CONSTITUTION:A coil 1 is arranged astride of a semicircular base plate 3, and a cryostat 2 is formed so that the inner container 5 is encircled through a heat insulating layer 4 by the outer container 6. A part of a peripheral wall 5a of the inner container 5 is made of a base plate 3, or other wall material which is similarly figured with the base plate and unified by making the base plate 3 arranged astride of it. A pair of rectilinear metal fittings 7 and 7' are welded on the base plate 3 close to the outer edges of the base plate longitudinal parts 1a and 1a' of the conductors whose current flows in the reverse direction to each other. When a peripheral metal fittings 8, which is accurately in contact with the outer surface of the coil, is arranged at the coil peripheral part, with pressure applied on the coil, and both of its side parts are soldered with the metal fittings 7 and 7' so that the coil 1 is supported between the base plate and the metal fittings, the coil is fixed to e unified with the cryostat, capable of preventing it from being deformed by electromagnetic force. |
