PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of maintaining a sharpness after storing for a long period or after storing under a severe condition, by mounting a image receiving layer contg. a thermal polymerization initiator on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The titled material mounts the image receiving layer contg. the thermal polymerization initiator on the substrate body. The initiator is an azo compd. the titled material contains 1-1,000mg/(m)<2> of the thermal polymerization initiator, and contains a binder, and has the image receiving layer having 1-100mum film thickness. The titled method lies in image-wisely exposing the photosensitive material having the photosensitive layer contg. silver halide, a reducing agent and a polymerizable compd. to form a latent image composed of silver halide, and effecting a development processing at the same time or after image-wisely exposing it. And then, the obtd. photosensitive material polymerizes the polymerizable compd. existing in a part formed the latent image to effect the development process. The image receiving material having the image receiving layer which contains the thermopolymerization initiator and is mounted on the substrate body, is overlapped on the obtd. photosensitive material under a pressure, thereby transferring the polymerizable compd. which is un- polymerized, to the image receiving material, and then, the obtd. image receiving material is heated. |
