Aromatic 2-amino-alkyl-1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)one-1,1-dioxide derivatives having the general formula

n is an integer of from 2 to 5; A and B are each oxygen sulfur or NR min where R min represents hydrogen or methyl; R1 is hydrogen, hydroxy or methoxy; R2 is hydrogen or methyl; and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, a process for the preparation of these compounds and discloses their use as anxiolytic and antihypertensive agents.
