PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device forming a filter block, by neighboring and arranging three kinds of stripe-shaped filters so as to be put in parallel in their longitudinal directions. CONSTITUTION:On one sides of the extending parts of filters 9a-9c arranged neighboring with each other in parallel in their longitudinal directions, the needle 13 of a filter driving part 11 is arranged being formed integrally with the filters 9a-9c. As for the size of an enclosure to accommodate a reader, a width wider than, at least, the width of an original 1 is required, and the value is considerably longer than the lengths of the filters 9a-9c. Therefore, it is not necessary to widen the width of the reader even when the needle 13 is arranged at that place. Also, since it is no necessary to arrange the filter driving part at the lower side of the filters 9a-9c, the thickness of the reader can be reduced by the share of the thickness of the driving part.
