PURPOSE:To prevent a reception side from receiving an unnecessary reception, by providing a station code setting and accumulating means which sets and accumulates in advance a station code corresponding to a transmission station code, and a comparison means which compares the said transmission station code and the said station code set in advance when a selection key is set at a condition automatic mode. CONSTITUTION:In case of a condition automatic selection 12, the transmission station code is extracted out of receiving identification signals by a transmission station code extracting means 4. And the station code is read out in order from a means 6 in which the station code obliged to recognize the reception set in advance, is set and accumulated, and it is checked whether the station code coinciding with a received and extracted transmission station code is present or not, at a comparison means 5. As a compared result, when a coincided station code is present, a control circuit 7, after sending a reception confirming signal, that is a response signal possible to receive from a transmission circuit 8 to a transmission station side, starts to receive the reception of a FAX message signal being sent from the transmission station side. Since only a facsimile signal from the transmission station that is requested to receive, and is set and registered in advance, is received, and the reception of the facsimile signal from another transmission station can be denied, it can be prevented to use consumable goods, such as a wasteful reception sheet, etc.
