PURPOSE:To provide a remote control device in which a signal line is eliminated and installation works is easy by providing in a pipeline a ultrasonic wave receiving part provided with a remote control portion, and utilizing the pipeline for the hot water supply as a signal transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A high-frequency oscillation signal is applied to the driver transistor 16 of an ultrasonic wave oscillator 15, in a high-frequency oscillation circuit 14 by an ON-OFF signal of a microcomputer 13 during a signal transmission thereby to actuate the ultrasonic wave oscillator 15 and to oscillate the ultrasonic wave. A ultrasonic wave signal is transmitted to a hot water upply pipeline 5 through a ultrasonic wave transmitter 7, and enters into a ultrasonic wave receiver 8, and is converted from a mechanical signal to an electric signal. The converted electrical signal is amplified by an amplifier 17, and enters into a detection circuit 28 constituted of a diode 18, a capacitor 19, and a resistor 20 and becomes an ON-OFF signal. A microcomputer 13 decodes the ON-OFF signal to determine what is transferred. Thus, by utilizing the hot water supply pipeline as a signal transmission line, the remote control without a cable line as a signal line becomes possible. |
