PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the operation replacing the address part of a frame in the internal part of a node and to minimize the hard quantity and the delaying quantity of the node by changing the contents of the bit to display the direction of communication when a master station and a slave station are respectively transmitted. CONSTITUTION:At a slave station node side, a communication direction display bit is rewritten from the slave station to a master station, the reception start instruction of a control part is decoded, and at the time of the receivable condition, the receivable bit in the control part is set as a status. When the frame arrives at the master station node again, the master station node knows that the address of its own node is written in a master node address 1A, and the communication direction display bit is rewritten from the master station to the slave station. The control part detects that the slave station can be received, sets a data reading instruction bit and starts the transmission of the data. When the slave station receives the frame, the communication direction display bit is changed, the data reading instruction is decoded and the data reading is started. The normal receiving bit is set and the master station node is responded.
