PURPOSE:To prevent the wear of a pad due to a sanding sheet by making a wear-resistant sheet held between said sanding sheet and said pad. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane sheet is superior in wear resistance, weather resistance, and tear resistance to other resins and rubbers, and has excellent elasticity for all its higher hardness than other materials. When an abrasive is bonded to the both faces of a netlike sheet 5, and when this sanding sheet 5, the both faces of which is usable, is fitted to a polishing machine 1, a polyurethane sheet 4 is interposedly attached between the pad 3 of the polishing machine 1 and the sanding sheet 5, to prevent the pad 3 itself from being worn or scraped out by means of the abrasive. Accordingly, the wear of the pad of a polishing machine can be prevented, always providing a smooth finished surface. |
