PURPOSE:To simplify the calibration of a radiation thermometer using a sensor probe, by using the sensor probe having a characteristic constant preliminarily set thereto at the time of the replacement of the sensor probe and inputting said characteristic constant to a temp. converter. CONSTITUTION:The temp. converter 1 constituting a radiation thermometer has characteristic constants S, Z for converting temp. A first sensor probe 2 has specific constants S1, Z1 and a second sensor probe 3 has characteristic constants S2, Z2. Each sensor probe consists of an optical fiber 6, a sensor part 7 and a connector 8. At the time of the replacement of the sensor probes in this constitution, the characteristic constants set to the sensor probes are inputted to the temp. converter 1 each time to be corrected to make it possible to simplify the calibration of the radiation thermometer.
