PURPOSE:To prevent the omission of information after clipping by outputting the vertex of an input image detected by a vertex detection means, a corner detected by a corner detection means, and an intersection detected by an intersection detection means as vertexes forming a clipping image. CONSTITUTION:The titled device has the vertex detection part 1100 detecting the vertex D of the input image ABCD, the corner detection part 1101 detecting corners J and I included in the input image ABCD among the corners E, J, D and I of a window, EFGH, the intersection detection part 1102 detecting the intersection between line segments BC and CD and that between line segments EF and HE, and an image output part 1103 outputting the vertex C detected by the vertex detection part 1100, the vertex E of the window EFGH detected by the vertex detection part 1101, the intersections J and I detected by the intersection detection part 1102 as an output used for forming the clipping image EJCI. Since the corner detection part 1100 recognizes and outputs the point E as a corner, the image EJCI after clipping ends up a closed image, whereby no omission of information occurs. |
