PURPOSE:The titled adhesive having improved rheological properties such as water retention characteristics, fluidity, etc., and high-speed combining adaptability while making the best use of bond strength by no carrier method, comprising a partially swollen starch and a positive starch completely made into paste. CONSTITUTION:The aimed adhesive consisting of (A) a partially swelled starch, for example, obtained by heating water suspension of starch to process starch particles into a swelled state and (B) a positive starch completely made into paste (e.g. obtained by processing water suspension of positive starch into paste under heating until the water suspension reaches the highest swollen state and the highest viscosity).
