PURPOSE:To eliminate a noise and conventionally liable malfunction by providing a bar carriage part and a pusher and a feed bar for clamping a material on a slide base located in a direction orthogonal with a bar feed direction and positioning the bar carriage part selectively for receiving and feeding the bar for processing. CONSTITUTION:A bar carriage part 36, a pusher 41 for pushing out a material to a clamping position and a feed bar 30 for a processing machine are provided on a slide base 23 installed in a direction orthogonal with a bar feed direction. And the bar carriage part 36 is selectively positioned for receiving a material and feeding the material to said machine, thereby feeding the bar material. Therefore, a guide rail can be omitted and a contact noise can be eliminated. Also, a chain drive device can be installed on the slide base 23, together with the feed bar 30, thereby obviating necessity for moving the feed bar 30 off the chain drive device in being freed from a processing line, and eliminating coupling and releasing function associated therewith and malfunction.
