PURPOSE:To reduce and uniformize a gap between a ceramic and a head core, and to improve an electromagnetic conversion characteristic, by welding and fixing a magnetic head core with a sticking glass molded at a nonmagnetic ceramic. CONSTITUTION:A non magnetic ceramic 12 in a composite type magnetic head core slider is formed in one body with a magnetic head core 11 which performs a magnetic recording and reproduction. When they are formed integrally in one body, a sticking glass 13 is used, and the glass 13 is molded at the surface layer part of a fixed groove 12A in the ceramic 12. Also, a reinforcing glass 11B is molded at a track width regulating groove in the core 11, and the softening point of the glass 13 is set lower than that of the glass 11B. And the head core 11 is welded and fixed at the ceramic 12 with the glass 13, and the gap between the ceramic 12 and the head core 11 can be reduced, and also, it is uniformized, thereby the electromagnetic conversion characteristic being improved. |
