PURPOSE:To transmit the driving force of a recording device when a developing device is loaded in a recording device by reducing the addenda of mutually engaging gears in chordal thickness by shifting, and allowing at least gear of a driving transmission system to rotate by a specific angle around the shaft on which the gear is provided. CONSTITUTION:A coupling gear 43 and a gear 44 for driving the developing device shift positively and are reduced in addendum chordal thickness (h), and a gear 45 for driving a developing sleeve and a gear 46 for driving an agitator roller 46 have center holes large enough to insert the shaft 52 of a developing sleeve or agitator roller, and a driving pin 55 fitted on the shaft 52 is positioned in a sectorial hole 54 which is symmetrically connecting with the center hole 53. Then the two gears 45 and 46 are rotatably around the shaft 52 by a specific angle, i.e. in a free state without rotating the shaft 52, so that the gear 44 for driving the developing device is also rotatable.
