<p>PURPOSE:To speed up the continuity test of gate wires and drain wires and to prevent the electrostatic breakdown at the intersected parts of the gate wires and drain wires with an active matrix display device by connecting plural pieces of the gate and drain wires respectively. CONSTITUTION:The gate connections 4, the drain connections 5 and the gate- drain connections 6 are provided and the gate-drain connections 6 are disposed in a scribing region 7. The gate wire 1 is made into a piece of the zigzag wiring by the gate connections 4 and therefore, the presence or absence of a non- continuity defect of the drain wire 2 can be detected by one time of the continuity test of the drain wire. Since all the gate wires 1 and the drain wires 2 are electrically connected, the electrostatic breakdown at the intersected parts of the gate wires 1 and the drain wires 2 is prevented. The gate wires 1 and the drain wires 2 are respectively electrically separated in the scribing stage after the test.</p> |
