PURPOSE:To easily design a strict operating specification and data bus structure of a circuit to be formed by extracting a data bus template and necessary operating specifications and storing information relating to the data bus of a logical device in a memory device. CONSTITUTION:When a data bus is inputted to the device, algorithm for retrieving the data bus template appropriate for the data bus is started from the memory device 4. When the data bus ten plate is selected, a question is sent to a logic designer through a display device 2 and algorithm for extracting the feature of the logical device is started. The algorithm outputs questions successively to the display device 2 to extract the feature of the operation based on the use of an MPU interface and the information of the selected data bus template, and the logic designer successivelys answers the questions. Consequently, the strict operating specification and data bus structure of the circuit to be formed can be easily designed.
