PURPOSE:To improve processing efficiency and a processing speed by judging whether an active cone text is referred from a cell or not at the time of return of program execution, and when the cone text is not referred from any cell, clearing all information excluding the size information of the cone text. CONSTITUTION:At the return of program execution, the contents of an active cone text register 2 are compared with that of a leaf cone test register 3 by a comparator 4 and a coincident cone text (a cone text which is not referred by a cell) is cleared. Dissident cone texts are not recovered. When coincidence is decided, the information of a cell management table 10 specified by the register 2 is recorded in a register 17 and the size information of the cone text in a cell data base which is specified by the register 17 is recorded in a register 21. The return cone text information is recorded from the data base 20 in a register 23 and the information excluding the size information is completely reset (cleared) by a resetting device 22.
