PURPOSE:To settle the troubles resulting from the volatilization of a bushing base material by covering the glass outlet of the titled bushing with a substance core difficult-to-volatilize than the base material of the bushing. CONSTITUTION:A covering layer 14 of the substance more difficult-to-volatilize than the base material of the bushing 3 is formed in 1-10mu thickness of the chip 12 and chip plate 13 at the glass outlet of the bushing 5 for producing glass fiber both of which are exposed to the atmosphere. A Pt alloy is preferably used as the base material of the bushing, and Rh or a Pt-Au alloy is preferably used as the substance more difficult-to-volatilize than the bushing base material. |
