PURPOSE:To easily obtain the titled alloy uniformly dispersed with a dispersion phase by forming the molten drops of a molten metal, dropping the same into a casting mold and supplying metallic oxide particles into a cooling medium. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 16 is raised to pour the molten metal 12 through a nozzle 13 into a reduced pressure vessel 14 while the cooling medium is supplied through a pipe 20 into a cooling medium flow hole 18 to form fine liquid drops 22. The liquid drops 22 are quickly cooled to the half-molten metal 23 which is cast into the casting mold 15. On the other hand, the metallic oxide particles are fed at a prescribed speed from a hopper and are added into the above-mentioned cooling medium, then the particles are insert-cast by the molten drops 22 in the vessel 14 and are dropped in this state so as to be uniformly dispersed into the half-molten metal 23. The metal 23 is cooled by the casting mold 15 and an ingot 24 of the titled alloy uniformly dispersed with the metallic oxide is obtd. The ingot 24 is subjected to hot rolling and heat treatment, by which the product of the titled alloy having an optional shape is obtd.
