PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains, as active ingredient, dimethirimol and other compounds, thus being used as a fungicide for agricultural purposes, because the combination manifests synergism to reduce the dose more than half that of single dimethirimol against powdery mildew. CONSTITUTION:Dimethirmol [=5-butyl-2-(dimethylamino)-6-methyl-4-pyrimidinol] which shows excellent effect against a variety of powdery mildews and copper nonylphenolsulfonate are used as active ingredients and emulsified in a solvent mixture of a hydrocarbon which is good solvent for the copper sulfonate and dimethylformamide, preferably in the presence of a surfactant to give the objective fungicidal composition emulsion. EFFECT:The composition manifests more activity against disease-causative microorganisms than in case of single application of the copper nonylphenolsulfonate.
