The invention relates to a flow-storage installation for diverse products such as, for example, flat stacked products, products grouped onto handling pallets or into containers. It will apply particularly to the field of handling and of storage for creating a motorised accummulation space in a unit for manufacturing the said products. According to the invention, the installation 1 consists of a storage area 2 having a plurality of accummulation tracks 3 which are substantially parallel to each other and is characterised in that it comprises: - an assembly of load-support girders 4 constituting the setting-down plane of the storage area 2 for the said products 5, the said girders being substantially parallel to each other in order to form the accummulation tracks 3, - one or more load-transfer carriages 6 which can be moved under the said girders on one or more rolling paths 7, each carriage being capable of immobilisation under a stack of products 5 or the like and having load-transfer means 8 for moving the said products 5 of the corresponding pre-selected accummulation track 3. <IMAGE>
