PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for costly dies, etc. by a trimming press and to improve productivity by disposing a manipulator to a conveying route for a product and mounting a gate breaking torch to the hand of the manipulator. CONSTITUTION:A product taking-out device 22 is moved to above dies and a chuck 25 is positioned to face the spacing between the dies. The product 27 is ejected and a gate 28 is gripped by opening and closing the chuck 25. The product taking-out device 22 is run along rails and is stopped above a receiving base 30. A torch 34 at the top end of the hand 35 is moved in the prescribed locus by the movement of a robot 32 when a control device 36 and a plasma melt cutting machine 33 are operated. The gate 28 is melt-cut by the plasma jet ejected from the nozzle of the torch 34. The chuck 25 is turned in an arrow A direction to move the product 27 to a chain line position and the gate 28 in another position is melt-cut according to need. |
