Double-conveyor handling system, particularly for motor-vehicle bodywork, of the type comprising two overhead conveyors 1, operating in parallel, and a sledge 3 carrying the load 2, connected to the two conveyors via at least four support arms 4 capable of being detached from the sledge at the end of a processing line, characterised in that the support arms 4 are designed in a rigid manner and are attached to the sledge 3 at a point 5 which is located inside the overall dimensions of the load 2 carried by the said sledge 3, the latter itself having an overall dimension which is smaller than that of the load. <IMAGE>
