<p>PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to interrupt an electric current by forming a reliability reinforcement layer with uniform etching depth and to improve a current spreading effect. CONSTITUTION: An active layer(115) is formed on a first semiconductor layer(111) of first conductivity. A second semiconductor layer(112a) of second conductivity is formed on the active layer. A reliability reinforcement layer(135) is formed on the second semiconductor layer. A third semiconductor layer(112b) of the second conductivity includes an optical extraction pattern on the reliability reinforcement layer. The distance between the active layer and the reliability reinforcement layer is 0.3-5 micrometers.</p> |
