PURPOSE:To easily replenish a molten metal as desired at proper times and to improve working efficiency by sucking the air in a pressure vessel with a pump to admit the molten metal into the pressure vessel and feeding the air by a pressure into the pressure vessel to introduce the molten metal into an injection cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The air in the pressure vessel 2 is sucked and the pressure therein is reduced when a pneumatic cylinder 16 is driven. The molten metal in a holding furnace 1 is accordingly raised in a suction pipe 4 and is admitted into the pressure vessel 2. The prescribed amt. of the molten metal is detected by a molten metal level sensor 6a when said amt. is attained. The operation of the cylinder 16 is then stopped and a vent valve 22 is opened to communicate the inside of the vessel 2 with the atm. The molten metal level in the vessel 2 falls and the inside of the vessel is ready to start pouring. Such state is detected by a molten metal level sensor 6b. The cylinder 16 is driven in accordance with the detected level and the air is fed to a pressure into the upper layer part in the vessel 2, by which the molten metal surface in the vessel 2 is pressurized and the molten metal is introduced through a pouring pipe 5, a nozzle 8 and a mouth piece 9 and through a pouring port 10a into an injection sleeve 10.
