A device (drinking device 10) for drinking out of a can 14 comprises a buoyancy body 16 which is adapted to the internal diameter 12 of the can 14 and can be placed in the unfilled can 14 prior to the filling operation and is provided with support elements 20 which fix the spatial position of the device inside the interior 18 of the can. Arranged on the upper side of the buoyancy body is a nozzle 28 which, in the position of use, passes through a central opening 30 in the can lid 32 in a sealing manner. The buoyancy body 16 and the nozzle 28 are designed in such a way that they float to the top in the can liquid due to their mean density. In order not to impede the closure of the cans after the filling operation due to the drinking device floating on the surface of the liquid, a fixing element 34, 36 is arranged between the inside wall 40 or the bottom 38 of the can before and just after the can 14 is filled with liquid, which fixing element retains the drinking device 10 for a limited time in the region of the can bottom (position A) and can be dissolved by the liquid introduced into the can 14. <IMAGE>
