In the case of the anti-shear plug-in socket connection for socket pipes (1) which are produced by centrifugal casting and serve to provide water-supply networks, the spigot end (3) of one pipe (1) can be inserted into the socket end (2) of the other pipe, with the interposition of a sealing ring (8), and a radially projecting supporting strip which interacts with an anti-shear means arranged on the free socket end is formed on the spigot end (3). In order to ensure simple manufacture as well as installation, the anti-shear means is configured in a bayonet-type manner, as known per se, and comprises n collar portions (13) which project radially inwards on the socket end (2) and have a circumferential angle range alpha SIMILAR 360 DEG : 2n, n >/= 4, and also comprises n strip segments (14), of the spigot end (3), which extend virtually over the same circumferential angle range alpha and engage behind the collar portions (13) in the coupled state (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
