<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of poor mounting, by a method wherein, when the weather strip of a window glass is mounted to the opening part of an automobile body through draw of a working string, inserted in the strip, by means of a draw hand, hammering motion effected by the pad of a glass press device is synchronized. CONSTITUTION:A strip W is engaged with the opening edge part of an automobile body by pulling out a working strip P from a weather strip W of a window glass G previously placed on the opening part of the body by means of a glass press device 50, by the use of a draw hand 5 mounted to the tip of an arm 4 of a robot for working entering the inner side of an automobile room. In this case, a draw work by means of the hand 5 is conducted simultaneously with a hammering work in that a pad 60 of the glass press device 50 clobbers a glass G. The length of the working string P drawn by the hand 5 is detected, and the working of a pad holder 55 is switched and controlled so that a position allowing the pad 60 to clobber the glass G according to the detecting length is changed in order.</p> |
