PURPOSE:To be able to take out solid materials from a pressure vessel under pressurized condition by installing a specified gate valve and a specified swing valve at the bottom opening part of the pressure vessel. CONSTITUTION:At the operation time of a pressure vessel, a gate valve 1 and a swing valve 2 are in fully closed condition and solid materials in the vessel are prevented from falling by the valve 2 and the gas in the vessel is sealed in no leaky condition by the valve 2. When the solid materials are taken out from the vessel, a revolution driving device is operated so as to open fully the valve 2 and piston and a cylinder device 6 are operated to open fully the valve 1 and then the solid materials in the vessel are taken out downwards through the valves 1 and 2. When the vessel is sealed up tightly, the valve is fully closed. When the valves are unable to be fully opened by the reason that the materials are stuck in the part of a valve seat or between valve members, the gate valve is fully closed by an inching operation and then the valve 2 is fully closed to operate the revolution driving device.
