PURPOSE:To enable to lightly steer a boat with a stable pilot's-posture, by steering the boat by turning a handle-bar installing plate through the forward- tilting-and-backward-raising operation of a pair of grips, which are attached to the right and left handle-stays. CONSTITUTION:When a pilot grasps the right or left handle-grip 26 with his hand, while standing up, and tilts or raises the grip 26, centering around a horizontal shaft 30 through his wrist operation, a handle-bar installing plate 19 rotates counterclockwise if for example, he tilts the right-hand grip 26 forward with the wrist of his right hand, via a handle bar 23 linking the plate 19 and the grip 26 by means of ball joints 28 and 24. With this rotation of the plate 19, a steering cable 21, which is stretched within the handle post 13, rotates a stern-part steering nozzle, thereby steering the boat. Thus, by effectively resting his weight on the boat or smoothly shifting his weight, the pilot can steer the boat stably and lightly in a standing posture.
